Piazza di Spagna

The Spanish Steps as got to be one of my favorite places. The shopping is fantastic. I went a little crazy with all the high-end stuff and it was especially painful lugging everything around in the blaring heat, but god does it feel good! A little over-indulgence and a little bit of just honestly enjoying spending time with myself.

And yes, fuck, I've become one of those people who post up photos of shit they buy...Soz. On the upside, most of the things I've been blowing my do' on over the last week hasn't been for myself and I'm using my own money/am putting myself in debt via credit card. Nobody ain't gonna buy shit for me, besides me...Or that I'm not going to flaunt my excess - which we will pretend exists in my life - if it's coming from someone else. Where's the fun in not earning what you own?

And I've also come to the realisation that I am not a backpacker. I am not a hostel person. I prefer the peace and comfort of a hotel room. As much as I do enjoy meeting new people and drinking til I can't walk, I'm positive that I can give that up for a fancy room at a good location, allowing me to just drop downstairs to head over to YVES fucking SAINT LAURENT at my leisure. Basically, I ditched my hostel booking when after spending a day shopping at The Spanish Steps, I realised I'd rather be somewhere like this. Typical of me.

Hoping to visit the Trevi Fountain, one of the museums and the Vatican City by Sunday. Really quite keen on getting my hair done as well. Let's make Italy the pampering part of my trip!!!!

Wondering how I will manage to fit everything in my luggage now...

  1. Hey! You know your second last photo? Was it close to the colloseum? It looks exactly like the entrance to the hotel I stayed at when I was in Rome haha but then again... could just be the angle.

Hope you continue to spoil yourself silly :)
