I'm embarking on a journey to find answers - some questions will be answered and some not. I will reflect alone, meet new people and emerge with a changed outlook once again.
God, I just fucking hope so.
We visited the Grand Bazaar today - beautiful shops filled with beautiful things! A whole lot of fucking walking in the summer heat, but I love it. I love it here so much. I have always loved quaint little streets and Istanbul is just the epitome of that. Alleyways with little stores everywhere!!!
We crossed the river by ship to get from the Asian side of Turkey to the European side and SHIT, the view was stunning. I love that Istanbul is built on these hills and you can just see all the houses and buildings sitting in the horizon. It's a seriously breathtaking sight.
Also went to visit Fatmanur's work today. I was welcomed into her boss' house with open arms. I've just been so looked after since day one, when my beloved friend waited for hours for me to arrive at the airport. I feel so blessed to have these people in my life.
Tomorrow it is off to see a palace and some more market shopping. Huzzah.
